  My question is for what exact purposes does Step use kdelibs. Maybe,
it won't be too hard to make a bit changed variant of Step with no
kdelibs dependency. 
  Personally, I prefer to use Qt-only applications and it would be nice
to have a Qt-only version of Step too. Just like Marble! :)
  I believe it would be just excellent to have both KDE-dependant and
Qt-only variants of Step. Do you think I'm wrong?
