I think your idea about a KDEdu style guide is very good. But it is

tasks are different. One time you have a game to select points on a map, next
time you have to enter words, next time you have to enter numbers and so on.
But there should be a focus to reuse the basic teaching concepts. I mean you
can use a memory game for mathematics, geography and so on. A good example of
how to reuse the basic concepts is the OpenWebSchool (www.openwebschool.de).
I also do not like the idea to have only one big KDEdu app providing all
games and tests under one big GUI. But maybe we can write one app for each
subject/topic like mathematic including all realized and planned apps under
one GUI.
These subject apps can be based on one concept with one code base. I think a
kind of plugin mechanism would be needed.
