I was surprised in the same way of having a big jump to version 2.2 instead 
of 0.7 :-)

I did what you propose (main.cpp):

static const char *version = "0.8.0";

  KAboutData aboutData("kvoctrain",
                       "KVocTrain",
                       version,
                       description,
