I have not seen the working of the KStars application yet, but I know that
the application is more specific for the scientific community. The main
idea is to make the interface more interactive and user-friendly designed
specifically to learn about the universe. I feel the idea has a great scope
for extension like mapping the universe and scrolling from one place to
another on the screen at click or showing basic animations of
stars,asteroid belt etc :)
