Hmm, are you referring to a kontrol center module?

I am trying my very best to kick common application settings out of kcontrol. 
Once my kcmkded plugins is done, kcmkonsole will leave, too, as the only 
reason it is still in is that it holds the settings for kwrited, which will 
then be a kded module and configurable from there. After all the control 
center should about controlling the system, not the apps.

I didn't follow the discussion on that topic, soould you tell me why you think 
this is a good idea?
