As I understand, the founder of kde-edu is the one who wrote just about the
only KDE Tutorial for beginners that actually works. It's very well written
and I was able to write my first practical KDE program as a result of it.

In the past, I messed with the book, "KDE 2.0 Development" and various online
tutorials but none of the examples in any of them work. Its because the
source code of KDE has changed so much. klined.h is now klineedit.h. I have
no idea what khtml.h is now. And try to guess what to set your QTDIR and
KDEDIR environment variables to? It's different with different distrobutions
but it's not documented anywhere I can find with google searches.

But that tutorial covers doing it in KDevelop and QTDesigner which is just
really nice. I am extremely happy with it.

Matthew

Anything that can be logically explained, can be programmed.
