I _think_ 'shuffle' plays each track once in a random order while 'random' 
plays a random track each time. (No replacement versus replacement, for the 
mathematically minded.)

I'm planning to update the kscd documentation to reflect interface changes 
that have supposedly happened, but I haven't gotten it to compile for weeks 
now. Sorry about that....
