Well, the patch is against the 2.2 branch. A look at it would have told you 
that it does use the KDockWidget class. I never had the intent to make it for 
qt3.

I'd write a patch for qt3 but first I'd want a KDE class that took care of 
saving the dock configuration. Is there anyone working on this or has 
something like this already been done?
