In my opinion the best would be to get the brand-new german translation
of the Andamooka book:

   title:  KDE 2 Programmierung

   editor: Markt&Technik

   isbn:   3-8272-5980-0


Using this book is a good idea since when making the german translation
we tried to embedd as much information as possible regarding to things
that have changes since the english text was published.  Also there were
several errors that we found and corrected so I dare to say that the
german version of the book is even better than the english one.  :-)

(No, I was not one of the industrious translators, but helped a bit
 as one of the 'technical editors'.)
