I think this is a really neat feature and, if proven stable, should be in 
there as early as in 2.2.1 IMHO!

BTW, I noticed that Windowish "gradient KDE" at the left of the K-menu... Is 
that also one of your own extensions or is it in HEAD or is it a hidden 
configoption in 2.2?
