But they might come to a point when they want to do it, and there is also a 
first time to shut the system down.

I don't get the idea of starting to stop using the system. The user would ask 
"how do I stop?" and the answer "start" is not obvious. It would be the last 
place I'd search for it.

Why not just remove the menubar of all app windows and just make a "start" 
button instead because it's the answer to the question "how do I start using 
the app?"?
