Nope, won't work. If you move such a window you'll get the "old" window
shine through the new one. And as this is recursive you'll get a finally a 
black window after moving it just about 10 pixel far. I know that because I 
tried it already for KNotes ;) The only way to get real transparent windows 
is to use XFree 4's XRender extension. I'm working on this for KNotes for KDE 
2.3...

Perhaps I'll get that one done for KDE 2.4? Just dreaming ;)
