Yes, your log shows that gphoto2 worked just fine. Now I can safely say the
problem
is in the kamera somewhere ;-(  But the output of kamera didn't show much
information
about it, I need make a patch to display more debug information.

At mean time, can you please post your configuration of kamera? I
think it is at  "~/.kde/share/config/kioslaverc".
