Thanks for the explanation.  I discovered another file
$(prefix_of_kdelibs_build)/share/config/system.kdeglobals that does
what /etc/kderc does but is not shared between a cvs build and Distribution
installation as long as their configure prefix are differnt. And that's what
I need.

Therefore

	mv /etc/kderc	/etc/kde2/system.kdeglobals
	ln -s /etc/kde2/system.kdeglobals  /usr/share/config/

Make Debians and my KDE installs happily life next to each other.
