then my answer is yes, but it is only my opinion... that being that it you 
are going to set up your fonts you ought to have common options and they 
ought to be accessable from one place.

I would note that there are lots of issues on news groups regarding proper 
setup of AA fonts.

I will email you my XFree, xfs and Xft config files so you can review and 
sort it out dlearly. ;-)
