Hi,

With today's CVS checkout, I have kate and kwrite crashing here under
Tru64 Unix right after startup. No window appears at all. However the
problem might exist since 2-3 weeks because I didn't start kate/kwrite
since then. Note I'm runnig kate on a fresh user account where it was
never run before. So there's no configuraton file or something. In my
experience, most of these problems are a result of un-initialized
variables.

Here's a traceback:

Any ideas anyone?
