Same here, the machine was completely frozen. If you only compiled kdelibs 
that's most probably the cause... I guess people would be interested in when 
did you compile kdelibs...
I'm using kernel 2.4.4 on a Duron CPU, no SCSI, AC97 sound, rtl8139 net, 
geforce2mx, nvidia 0.769 driver, if anyone needs more info I'll gladly 
provide it.
