no ... the intention of the script was to "source" the files of both
sh and csh. of course, the values from the later sourced script will
win in case of contradiction. that's why i basically don't like it.
another note ... the magic with the csh call would only work, if one
put '#! /bin/bash' a the top of .xsession (because of quotation issues).
