Hi!
instead of
twm &
I put

/home/gass/d2/opt/kde2/bin/kdmdesktop   &
/home/gass/d2/opt/kde2/bin/kicker &
/home/gass/d2/opt/kde2/bin/kwin &

into ~/.vnc/xstartup

This brings up a nice and working KDE desktop in vnc on a MS box
(besides the one on the box itself :-)

2 shortcomings so far:
* the kdmdesktop is to big, consequently I have to scroll around to reach
the titlebars and kicker.
* the MB are not woring when clicking on the desktop

Any way to control the size of the desktop window?
