Well yes, but it would be easier if it was stored like:
i18n("Doctor:Dr.:Dr:Miss:Mr.:Mr:Mrs.:Mrs:Ms.:Ms:Professor:Prof.");
because then it can be translated to
"Dokter:Dr.:Dr:Mevrouw:Mevr.:Mevr:Mijnheer:Mhr.:Mhr:Professor:Prof.:Prof"
because in dutch no distinction is made between Ms. and Mrs. and I can image
that in other language there might be even more distinctive titles.
So translating it 1:1 doesn't make much sense IMO.
