Hi guys,

I have the following 'feature' with a KDE2 application:

I can create any number of KMainWindows and they behave nicely - when
the last one is deleted the app exits. However, I want to have some
child windows (i.e. that are not KMainWindows) but still have menubars,
the nice moveable toolbars and all that good stuff.

Here's where I'm probably going wrong...

I created a KMainWindow with a parent. Now, the app works really nicely.
Unless you close the real parentless top level KMainWindow when a child
is open. The top level closes OK, and its 'child' KMainWindow also closes
... but the application doesn't exit, it just hangs there.

Is there a solution to this? Am I missing some other good top level
window class that isn't KMainWindow, or is this a KDE2 bug? Or am I
just doing something that no sane person would want to?

Thanks for the help!

Cheers,

Pete
