Hi,


can you please test this example programm.
It test if your xv is working at all.

http://www.cs.uni-potsdam.de/~wertmann/xv/testxv.c


You should see a green window with black
circles and if you resize the window
everything in it is resized as well.

Then you can check if fullscreen works,
kill artsd start kaiman as root
and when you play a movie: right mouse click
on video should switch to dga.
