Installed from: SuSE 6.4 rpms

I start X windows system with KDE2 as a $WINDOWMANAGER, and I get a KDE2 screen. \
Start up program gives me message like "KDE2 0% ready". When I try to start just any \
application it immediately crashes. I get a small disk on the Kicker spinning for a \
second or so, and that's all. 

I'm running linux 2.2.16 with XFree86 3.3.6 (SuSE 6.4) on Pentium II with 64Mb RAM.
