Subject:    Compile/link errors from cvsup snapshot.

I have a documenter who has been getting the following errors for a couple 
weeks now, whenever he tries to compile KDE.

He is running trying to compile KDE from cvsup (kde.cyberlifelabs.com), last 
updated 15 July 2000, on a Mandrake 7.1 system (gcc 2.95.3).  He is trying to 
run this on kernel 2.2.16-9mdk.

He is not subscribed to this list, and I cannot help him with this problem.  
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know, and I will forward them on to 
the documenter.

I have been trying for a couple of weeks to update my KDE2 installation but
keep getting the same error:

libtool: link: only absolute run-paths are allowed
make[2]: *** [libkde-qt-addon.la] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/kde/kde-qt-addon/kde-qt-addon'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/kde/kde-qt-addon'
