Hi there,

I was wondering if there was a way, other than writing a separate
module, that would allow regular users to view system module contents in
read-only mode without requiring the root password.

For example, we have a module for setting the networking parameters.
This requires the root password to set the values which makes sense.
Unfortunately, you need the root password to even view the values which
means that the user would have to know to go to a console window and
type /sbin/ifconfig.

Thanks,

Carlo.
