  I know. But I though that this is exactly the problem, so I tried to
remake my db when I don't have all the other stuff hanging around.

  No. The first error message was a version change in the sycoca db (from
15 to 16). After that I've deleted the ksycoca file, and tried
(unsuccessfully) to recreate it.

  No. It is not running, exactly this is the problem with this error
message! At the least it should say something like:

  "Either ksycoca is already running, or dcopserver is not started!"

   I will recompile it with debug mode and send a more detailed backtrace.
