That it doesn't apply _at all_ with the problem of visual
feedback while LAUNCHING an application. You have no window,
where do you set the watch cursor ? :)

KOffice apps _do_ set the busy cursor while loading or saving the document,
when the mouse pointer is over the window. The application is busy, that's
for sure. But you can't do that when launching an app (which where this
thread is about, isn't it ? It moved a bit to other stuff like
feedback while loading, but that is really no problem).

David, who indeed hopes to see a solution come up for the visual
feedback when starting an app - anything, even the kpanel2 led
was better than current situation (i.e. nothing).
