Subject: Doc/View: which view is "mine"?

Hey all,
Taking a break from packaging, I'm dabbling in using Kdevelop a bit.
The new-app wizard sets up a doc-view architecture, very MFC like. Now,
in the main class creates a new view, then adds that view to a QList in
the doc class.
So, I'm now in the openDocument() code in my doc class trying to load
the document. How do I know which element of the QList is the right
element to pass to on to various functions? For example, my main view
is a QListView. The view constructor adds my columns to the listview.
In my doc class openDocument(), I can add:
(void) new QListViewItem((QListView*)viewList->current(), "foo", "bar",
"troy");
and it certainly works. But, is using ->current() the best way to
obtain the pointer to the view I want to load the document into? I'm a
little lost...
Thanks for any help,
-te
