Hello Folks,

since there are over 180 SuSE binary packages for KDE applications
(that are not in the base distribution) downloadable, for example on

	ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse_update/KDE/latest_kde

we come into some trouble with the K Menu structure. Its very easy
now to install almost all available KDE applications within a few
minutes (provided a fast internet connection).

Most applications simply install into Utilities. And even if they
would be more distributed among the other menus, the menus are
overfull. The worst thing is, that the menu won't scroll or divide
into multiple parts. Many entries are simply not accessible.

I my humble opinion it is neccesary that the K menu is restructured a
bit and more cathegories are introducted. A few submenus would be fine.

For example:

	Games -> Action
              -> Strategy

        Toys (keyes, amor, ...)

A separation of Internet and Network. Multimedia could
have a submenu 'Sound'. Utilities could have Submenus

  Labtop
  Diskdevices (Harddisk, Floppy, Diskfree, ...)
  Peripherials (Printer, ...)

  and so on...

This is very ad hoc, so don't stick to the word, but
to the intention.

How should a more complex K-Menu structure look like?
