Hi,

there still seems to be an annoying delete problem with kmail 1.0.21.
As discussed in older threads on this list, kmail does delete mails
only when one chooses "compact". However, for me, new mails do not
only get not deleted, they also appear as "new" if I leave kmail and
start it again. In detail:

-I fetch new mail via POP3
-it automatically gets sorted to a certain folder
-I enter that folder and read mail after mail, pressing
 the delete key
-I exit kmail
-I start kmail again and all the deleted mails show up again (in the
 same folder, still marked as new)
 
Now if I do compact that folder before I quit, the mails wonīt
show up again. Whatīs more strange: If I start kmail again and I get all
those mails that should have been deleted and delete them again (the
same way I do the first time), then they will be deleted properly,
even if I quit and restart without doing compact folder.

Can someone reproduce this behaviour? I had a look at the source
already, but I couldnīt find the problem.
