I believe compilers ignore unknown #pragma's.

Unfortunately I don't know much UNIX compilers other than egcs who 
support C++ well enough that they can actually compile all of KDE 
(including mico & koffice).

Please let me know if anyone succeeded compiling the current CVS
with a different compiler! 
(One of the commercial compilers perhaps?)
