Is it just me and my Alpha or has kfm got this annoying new feature in
1.1.1:

Whenever I switch to my home directory (at startup, from a web page,
from another directory, reload) kfm eats up all CPU it can get for
about one minute ... and one minute is a _very_ long time on a DEC
Alpha 500. During this time KDE is almost unusable because kfm is
very unresponsive (can't launch an application from the start menu,
from the panel or a root icon).
