Why that ? I do not understand this...

That doesn't seem to be sufficient. Some TOCs are still too large. Read my
previous postings for additional flags

Problem solved after linking against libstdc++-2.8.1.1.

No, it's not a DCE problem. It occurred on my AIX 4.3 machine (without DCE) as
well as some years ago with the public domain version of xlock. The kde lock
mechanism seems to use the same code segments as xlock does. I did not fix this.
Where do I have to look for the password decryption routine in the screen
locking part of KDE ?

If you mean that the display hangs, that's the same effect as I had.
