I did a clean install of KDE today, from a cvsup snaphot taken on
15 April 1998, at 5:00pm CDT, and while most everything went
pretty well, the following issues did crop up.
kdebase : missing a couple of files from pics/mini. The files are
folder_blue.xpm, folder_red.xpm and a few other folder_{color}.xpm
files.
kfm: always opens a home directory window on startup. Very annoying.
(BTW, it would be nice if we could get the html widget to render
http://slashdot.org/ properly before Beta-4.)
kwm: shaded title bars don't work, they look just like the plain ones.
(The Desktop/Colors config applet renders them properly, though.)
kpanel : shutting off menu tooltips should probably turn off the
tooltips on the panel icons too.
kdenonbeta :
kpm : the process list shows up as light gray-on-white. It's
impossible to read.
kdeutils : kfloppy will not compile. I get the following errors:
