Is this really something we want ?

I mean: this is the *only* place in the whole Kde GUI where things
highlight when the mouse moves over it.

Sorry, but IMO this does not look good and is very inconsistent.

Either make surface highlighting everywhere, as SGI has it, or
nowhere at all.
