the content. the above sentence is FUD, that simple. the only place that
is really taboo is kdelibs - which is kinda irrelevant, as it is going
to be split up into separate modules anyway (at least logically). if you
want to be anti-proprietary, you can have it. you just won't get a "kde
platform" label on it.
the gpl 2 vs 3 question is orthogonal to that, and depends solely on the
license compatibility of particular applications. you got that part
right.
