I fully agree there, definitely I would like to see happen, but right now this 
component is pretty much owned by me and I'm spread thin on other tasks... so 
definitely lacking time there. :-/

I would say it's not that complicated (assuming being notified of the current 
activity is somewhat easy, I guess it it ;)), we already have support for a 
"per app" places filter, so a "per activity" would be fairly similar I think.
