keeping in mind that KDE runs on more than just Linux and that Linux itself is 
a fairly diverse set of platforms, i do think it would be just fine to offer 
such help as "additional tips" or what-have-you.

there is often other information online, such as at the linux documentation 
project, and userbase could probably point to those sources where appropriate 
as well.

there would be a balance to be found, but i don't think userbase has to remain 
puritanically KDE :)
