thanks for the answers to the questions i posed; added to the fact that Dirk
was helping you as well, i like the idea of what you've done here. if nobody
else objects on kde-core-devel, then i'm sure we'll see your work in kdebase
soon.

yes, i think that would be best. all the kdelibs/base developers are there,
more so than on this list (which is more for app devel with kdelibs)
