for future reference, there's a bug report page on bugzilla for sysadmin 
stuff:

	http://bugs.kde.org/enter_sysadmin_request.cgi

there's a *base.kde.org component there even. i've filed a bug and there's a 
meeting being held tomorrow to figure out what can be done.
