Hi Shane,

also answering to nepomuk-kde ml, because I think that is the way to go.

I mentioned Zeitgeist several times at last weekends Nepomuk
development sprint in Freiburg. A KDE Zeitgeist should really be based
on Nepomuk.

For logging of applications launches: In Freiburg the Raptor (an
application launcher plasma applet) guys were working on a ontology to
store application launches and also started to integrate that into
Raptor.

We also discussed to move that deeper into KDE at some point. So that
every launch using KDE (Kmenu, Krunner, Dolphin, Raptor and so on)
would end up in Nepomuk. Together with the new save/open file dialog
these launches got even be linked to the files used at every
application launch.

And files could also get linked to the persons who you got them from
(e.g. via mail, im).

So all this Data will "soon" be available in Nepomuk already. On top
of that a program like Zeitgeist or even the existing one (a KDE
version of that?) with Nepomuk as datasource would be the easiest and
for the future most promising way to do it.

If you are interested in this we could further discuss this on the
nepomuk-kde ml or do a IRC meeting ( I think Sebastian should be there
too).

Daniel
