Wouldn't having %U in the .desktop file help this? Currently it 
only has %u which implies only one URL can be accepted. Of 
course, if Gwenview doesn't actually support a list of URLs to 
open, this doesn't apply. It doesn't seem to in 4.2.3. Wishlist 
item?
