Hello, having used for the past month, this aspect is quite annoying.  One way 
to test it is after you enter the path and file, click OK and then hit the 
'view diff' on the far right.  If it doesn't find the files, discard/cancel 
and try again.

For example I use 
trunk/KDE/kdebase/apps/konsole/src
and then do the svn diff in src/

The other BIG annoyance is that when 'View Diff' most of my keyboard keys 
don't work in the text boxes.
