thanks a lot.  I applied the libtunepimp-0.5.3-gcc43.patch and 
libtunepimp-0.5.3  now compiles.    I will report findings on another thread  
where others  reside from whom I had sought help with 
libtune-pimp-0.5.3/AMD64(64-bit).
