There will be one more issue, how could it be when multiple progres exists?
Which one should be shown in graphical representation?

> Hi All,

Hi!

> I just had an idea about the issue people have expressed before
> regarding notifications
> with progress bars auto-hiding. File copy was one particularly
> mentioned. Anyway, idea
> I had would allow it to hide, while still providing feedback for progress.
>
> If we turned the background of the notification icon into a pie chart
> that was the average
> of all ongoing progress notifications. I haven't looked into the
> feasibility of coding this, but
> it seemed like a non-intrusive way to show that those items are still
> going on and their
> progress without needing to leave the notification taking up a lot of
> screen real-estate.
>
> Any thoughts on this?
>

That's an interesting idea.. I'm not really sure if it's easy to \
code...

Anyways I proposed something similar at <a href="http://bugs.kde.org" \
target="_blank">bugs.kde.org, at least to get
a graphical feedback if the \
notification is hidden: to show an
animated icon + adding some kind of tooltip: \

target="_blank">https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=178938

I tried to implement it one time... but I failed.... cause I don't
know the whole system.. and I was probably relaying on some strange
hacks...
