That's an interesting idea.. I'm not really sure if it's = easy to code...

Anyways I proposed something similar at bugs.kde.org, at least to get
a graphical feedback if the notification is hidden: to show an
animated icon + adding some kind of tooltip: =C2=A0You can see my proposals=
at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3D178938

I tried to implement it one time... but I failed.... cause I don't
know the whole system.. and I was probably relaying on some strange
hacks...
