On my laptop with integrated ATI Technologies Inc RS485 [Radeon Xpress 1100 
IGP] and open source radeon drivers it is the same when I try to show the 
Dashboard. I use XRender mode as OpenGL mode doesn't work on this graphics 
chipset. I guess I should report this bug to xorg.
