Hi,

I set up a new (temporary) techbase page on how to make your KDE4 experience 
smoother: http://techbase.kde.org/User:Lemma/GPU-Performance

Currently it doesn't contain more than what was already posted on the previous 
thread but I'm looking forward to having some more content. Unfortunately I 
don't own a AMD/ATI card and can't comment a lot on issues one might have 
with those cards (are there any problems with intel ones?).

I'd like to invite everyone interested in helping out by collecting and 
testing settings that might help. Feel free to add to and modify the page if 
you feel it will help the cause. (In fact, isn't this again one of those 
great opportunities where you can help out your favourite FOSS project 
without having to code? :-)).
