Some here. It seems that the 8600m-GT is the gpu with the most problems. Also 
the pixmap placement option doesn't make a real difference.

:-(  I got my Dell Vostro 1500 in January. With the 8600m-GT. I already though 
about selling this one and get an other one. But I would loss too much money.

And not sure. The nvidia guys wrote that they are working on it. And one of 
the things they are planing is to make initial pixmap placment=2 default. And 
fixing some speed problems with that.

I am afraid that that will not help at all for the 8600m-gt gpus. But lets 
hope the best...
