I would really like to see something like this: Imagine you create a sync
profile for your home directory. The backup application automatically all
subdirectories, but leaves hidden directories (i.e. configuration) out of the
backup. However, you can choose from a list that you e.g. want KMail's mail
storage and Konqueror's bookmarks to be synced. Or you can sync your whole
KDE configuration, and everything in .config, and your Wesnoth settings.

The downside is that the application needs a huge database of what
configuration files are provided by which applications (inside KDE, this
could be done by the programmers, but I doubt others will adapt such things
too fast). Also, the application needs to recognise a home directory or
something that looks similar.
